I've created a custom Estimate screen that automatically generates estimate line items when certain boxes are checked.
My screen auto enters these line items with item, quantity, rate, tax etc. They show up on a grid below, but when I save and close the screen the Rate returns to zero. Spent a whole day trying to figure this one out, it seems as if everything is done properly. All other info is retained.
I finally found a workaround myself. If work backwards and automatically enter the RateInclusive into the line item table instead of the Rate, Method calculates the Rate from this and everything works fine. The only field that doesn't like to be automatically entered is the Rate.
Fairly certain something isn't right here. Not sure if it would impact anything else, but thought I'd bring it to your attention.
