    Screen Section "Cancel"

Ok,  I deleted some of the screen sections on the Customer List Screen.  Half way through I changed my mind and didn't really want or need to delete the sections.  Now I can't "cancel changes" on the screen.  All I have availiable is "publish" and "save and close".  Would be nice if I had a "I'm stupid" and did something I shouldn't have button. Can you start me over or send me a new "customer list" screen?I don't want to take the time or have the knowlege of the fields that go one there.  Man I shouldn't have done that.

Thanks for the feedback Kevin.  It's for sure something we'll need to look into.

As for getting back the section in the 'Customer List' screen, you will need to copy/import those screens from another account since they are no longer exist in your account.  Here are the steps I would take:

    1. Create a new Method account.  Use the same information you were provided with in the initial setup email.  You will need to pick a different name for your Account Name.
    2. Use this Method account to keep a backup of how the original screens look.  That way if you need to revert back to a screen or section, you can.

Now to copy/import the screen into your account, follow the steps below.

    1. In your current Method account, click Customize > Screens.
    2. At the bottom of the screen, click Copy/Import Screen.
    3. Click Another Account.
    4. Enter the Account Name, User Name and Password from the new account you just created.
    5. Click Next.
    6. Click the Screen Name dropdown list.
    7. In the Save As box, type in the name for your screen.
    8. Click Next.
    9. Ensure that the ‘Add a Tab Link’ option is selected and that ‘Home’ is selected for the Tab dropdown list.
    10. Click Finish.

That’s it!  If you click on your ‘Home’ tab, you should now have your Customer List link back.

Great, I think it worked out.  Screens are back to somewhat normal.  I have screwed everything else up though.Big Smile

Just a FYI for the future:

    1. It's kind of like designing report templates.  Before you make edits to a screen, it's best to use the Copy / Import Screen function to make a backup of your own screen.  At least while you are still beating it up!

    2. Within the next week we'll have the "Method Library" up and running so when you copy / import screens you'll get a 3rd option to import screens from the library as opposed to just from your own account or another user's account.  This is how we'll be sharing new screens, reports, and apps to you.
