    How to make add a new Email field and make it work

     I'm trying to customize our full blown Method to our sales team.  I have added a new Email field where the sales person can put in the email address of a new potential client, then mail the quote to him/her.  But the email field did not work.  Could someone point me out what are the necessary steps to accomplish this?  Is it requires to link the field with a screen that contains client information?  or it has to be linked with an email template.  If so, how to do that.  Please help.  Any hint is helpful

    There are many different ways to do something like this. You don't necessarily have to link any fields you could just create a text field on the screen and pass that value to the Send Email action. You can also use the logic built into the existing standard estimate screen and use our Contacts Portal. If you want us to create a customized solution for you this can be done through consulting time or through a customization package
