A colon gets added in front of the customer name

    A colon gets added in front of the customer name

    Recently I created a new customer.  I then created another customer that has the same address.  One is not a job of the other.

    When I went back to view the customer list, the Full Name that is in bold and is not maintainable, is now preceded with a colon, for both customer listings.

    Any ideas of why the colon is there, or how to get rid of it?

    Colons appear in the Full Name for customers when a job is linked to a customer.  You can double check to see if a job was inadvertently linked by going to the “Additional Info” tab and checking the “Job of Customer” field.  You can also verify this in Quick Books by checking if there is an indentation under the customer you added.
