    Importing from Excel to CRM

Hello, I am having a little trouble importing from an excel file to CRM Customer field. Specifically I cannot alter what appears in the first line of the shipping/billing address. It always shows the company name, even when I specify a different value in the shipaddressaddr1 field.

My second problem is finding a place to put a website. The Other field has a 21 character limit, and many of my website names are longer than 21 characters. Ideally I would like a field that I can import directly to, but modifying it after the customers are imported is a possibility (though a pain as there are 600+ customers).

    Thank you for your help.

Are you using QuickBooks desktop or QuickBooks online?

Where is it showing the Company name? Is this on a certain screen or template(Invoice/Estimate/etc...)?

You could create a new field in Method to store the website or a new QuickBooks custom field to store the website at the customer level.

Thanks I got the website working now.

The Bill to problem is on the customer page, it automatically puts the Company Name into the first line of the Bill To field.

Are you using QBO or QBD?

Can you email me a screenshot of an example of this?

I have a picture, but I don't know how to send it to you. Trying to send you an email using the forum doesn't allow attachments.

So at the moment it is doing this by design to get around this you can start entering the address data starting at the second line (BillToAddressAddr2). This will most likely be changed at some point but I can't give you an ETA on it.
