can someone tell me how to have my sales guys (who don't have access to Method QB) see our inventory quantities on hand before they place an order?

Yes, all of that I have done. My problem truly comes down to Method is uploading my Leads as a customer instead of lead. I think it's because of my question of:
Why is it when I'm importing my file with THE necessary field of EntityType (and all records show Customer Lead), Method doesn't recognize this field upon import?

Now, as per your advice earlier, my file includes EntityType as a field and Method doesn't recognize it as one of its fields. I'm confused because it seems this field must be included so as to not turn my leads into customers on the import......

Good Morning Paul,
I’m now trying to upload my “test” leads. However, I get this
error - Error:We couldn't update current record because
we couldn't find a single unique parameter that will match your update
criteria.
Since these are leads, there’s no RecordID – it seems Method
wants a RecordID ...

This is excellent information! - I am actually talking about two different things I'm doing.
1) cleaning up customers
2) adding 8,000 customer leads...

oh, I have lost my QB dashboard - I don't know how to get the Method one back on by QB tab... you've been so helpful!

aslo, can I export my Customer list, make tons of corrections and then upload it back to Method? Mainly what I'm correcting is address fields - when we put them in, we used the wrong fields and now I have to correct 500 customers.

I know what you mean by RecordId column as I've seen it as a field to choose. Do I assign a number to all of my contacts and use that as a record ID?

I am using the import function. I am using importing to a Contacts table. I have tried the copy/paste funtion and also uploading a csv file and get errors eitiher way.
the only time the import function has worked for me was when I used a Customer table but I definitely do not want to upload to a Customer table - just a contacts ...
