relating back to my other post other the top of my head it turns out the admins where being noobs and not filling out ship in data in hte customer pages but we have finally got round to the problem and its not so much a problem more of a quality of life change.
ok so in customer we have the basic fields

emailed account name and no its just the cutomer portal its the ask question screen i believe.

when our customers submit a ticket on the customer portal, it submits and we can read it in cases but the customer gets hit with this error and they keep resubmitting it until they get annoyed and phone us up saying our system is'nt working.

problem is we are not putting in the colon. you see the customer is foxtons address for our invoice as we bill differnt foxtons
and the job is also an address (where the work is to be carried out)
method is automatically putting that colon in and when it syncs with QB's the Billing address and Job address don't get populated.

Yeah your right i just spoke with the staff and the took me through the ordering system but we didn't put the colons in, basically we stick the address of the customer in on the form, and then in additional set it as a job of another.
e.g.
foxtons (an estate agent) is hte job agent (who we are doing it for)
