  • Tax Not Calculating

I have created an estimate in Method.  It has synced with QB.  In QB, the tax appears and the QB estimate shows the sales tax.  In Method, however, the tax appears on the screen, but when I select the print preview, the sales tax is $0 and the total is the pre-tax amount.  If I bring up an estimate created in QB and then synced ...

  • Re: Report Designer - Filtering

Ashur, That certainly works, but there is no control over the format of the report or the page setup. Exporting to Excel is a better option. However, filtering an existing report would be BEST. Mario

  • Report Designer - Filtering

Report Designer seems to be popular these days.  My request seems simple enough, but I have been unable to execute. I have a custom grid that lists items owned by customers.  Columns include Customer, Manufacturer, Model Number, Serial Number, and Expiration Date. A single customer may own several different items that all expire on ...

  • Copy a Record

We keep track of customers' assets for warranty purposes.  I created a custom table and screen to manage this. It is loosely based on the existing CustomerEquipment table in Method.  We have customers who purchase several of the exact same number where the only information in the record that changes is the serial number (and ...

New wrinkle.  Now the same function that worked yesterday is producing a new result.  A web screen opens and says: It appears your session has timed out or is inactive. Please sign out and sign back in before trying again. I logged off and back on, but I get the same result. Mario

The newest versions of QB have some great new functions.  We have not loaded it yet, however, because one of these new functions is a Customer Lead component.  It the expected going to happen, i.e. Method Leads sync into QB Leads, or do we know yet?  What we don't want is the "unexpected", whatever that may be. Adam, Can you show me (screen shots), what you have in the Retrieve and Web Page actions?  I have tried every combination I can think of with no luck. Mario

Adam, I see the wisdom in your suggestion; however, I tried various configurations and everything I tried resulted in that same error, so I went back to my original setup for the time being. If you get more info on that error and why we're getting it, perhaps that will help. Mario

OK,  I reread your instructions and tried one more thing and it worked.  Here is what I ended up with: Start Conditional Statement – This looks at the “Manufacturer”  field on my screen in order to retrieve a document unique to the manufacturer shown.           ...
