  • Customization Woes

I don't know if this is a bug or the way it should be, but if you make a copy of screen, customize that screen, but then do something in your customization that doesn't quite work right, you get an error message: Oops, something went wrong. Please try again. If the problem persists, sign out, sign in, and try again. If the problem ...

This feature is not working in the Method:New beta version.  Numbers look terrible. Mario

  • Method:New Feedback and questions

Feedback: Overall, I like the new look and functionality.  It does take some getting used to if you are comfortable with Method:Old.  I'm not sure it has all of the functionality that is available in M:O, but that may be by design. Questions/Suggestions: 1) It would be nice to have the cursor/pointer start spinning, or something, ...

  • Software Suggestion

It would be nice if, in a field showing money, we could select an option to show commas, the same as we can select the $ and/or the number of decimal points.  We often deal in thousands of dollars and it gets old counting zeroes.  Of course, if there is a way to do this already, I'm in. Mario

  • Vendor Tax ID issue

I exported my vendors out of Method, did a little bulk work on them, and then attempted to import them back.  All but 6 succeeded.  Those that failed had the following error: Error:xxx-xx-xxxx is too long for insertion (11 characters). The value must be 10 characters or less. The x's were originally the vendor's SSN.  ...

  • Re: Import without EVER syncing with QB

Audisho, Thanks for the quick response.  I have looked this over a bit and I've run into a potential roadblock.  I wanted to export transactions so I could see what kind of information is captured as well as the field names, but I can't find a table that I can either export transactions from or to.  Am I missing ...

  • Import without EVER syncing with QB

History: Our organization has been using SalesForce as their CRM for some time.  They have also been using QB Desktop for a long time; however, a few years ago, the previous accountant found it necessary to start a new QB file, thus losing the connection between the data in the previous QB file and the current QB file.  The old data ...

  • Re: Adding, Deleting or Modifying dropdown items in the list

I was actually just doing this when I saw this email.  Go to Cases, click on New Cases.  For the Status, click on the elipsis (...) on the right and a screen will pop up allowing you to edit, delete, add, etc. For the Type, put a check mark in the Additional Information box and a window will open with the Type on the right side.  ...

  • Re: Hybrid Portal?

Justin, I'm waiting on the free hour.  They are apparently scheduling into April now. What I’m trying to do: I want our grantees to be able to login to a portal and see: 1)  All money that has been donated to us for use by the grantee (date, amount, name, address of donor/customer) 2)  All money that has ...

  • Hybrid Portal?

We are a charitable nonprofit organization.  One of our programs involves receiving money from donors and then turning around and giving money to grantees.  Our donors are "Customers" in QuickBooks and Method, and our grantees are "Vendors".  We are looking to expand this program, but we need a way for our ...
