This is happening again with the same user. I've instructed him to flush cache and also to try a different browser.

But is anyone else having sim issues?

Google Maps & address fields

When I attempt a Map & Directions for selected workorders I get this:

mapAddressError: CustomerName, XXXX street,,City,Fl,Zip not found. Located zip/postal code only

If we have another address field it throws that in too.

The map stops at that error.

We also get the InitializeError : ReferenceError: "GBrowserIsCompatible" is undefined, plust the other similar errors that have been not noted before.

Some name and addresses work, others don't. I don't see any differences in the data entered in the address fields. On the ones that don't work, I can manually enter the address in to Google maps and it will work there.

On IE, havent tried other browsers.

Ideas?

Method Field services. I'll find out at our meeting later today if he's still having issues, and if others are as well.

update: all other users have reported repeated instances of this. They say they have to log out and wait 20 mins or so. I have not reproduced this on my desktop, nor has my office staff using desktops. This has only been on laptops/netbooks using 3G modems.

Noone has tried another browser as of yet, nor has it reproduced yet today. Though, they don't often go into the FS>Invoices screen.

Am i not supposed to have the QX screens when I use Method Field Services?

403 error code in Field Services Invoice

Today I had one user who encountered a 403 code whenever he tried to load the invoice tabbed screen in Field Services. The screen is default QX no. 404, I believe. No problems on the Customer Center side, where I have a custom screen.

I logged in under his account and had no issues on my computer. We rebooted, flushed cache and the problem still persisted.

He's using Win7, IE, not sure what flava.

just say no to iframes - iPad, Android Browser

Or so I'm told when it comes to making content scrollable on iPad and Android Browser, at least reliably. Method uses iframes liberally.

So, any suggestions, tips, tricks, etc. on getting these pads to work w/ Method? Has anyone made a solution?

We hoped that the Dell Duo netbook/tablet hybrid would work, but it's tablet UI is atrocious, nearly unusable for any real work, so back to iPads.

Ok, I knew that only the default method screens were updated. So, let's see if I have this straight. To keep my custom screens synched with Methods updates to default screens, I have to monitor your Twitter account? and go through tweets like: "6 practical Social Media skills you never even knew you had but that you can use right away" and others and tweeze out the updates?????

C'mon give us a wiki or just a page with chronological updates. So I can scan and quickly find the ones that apply to me. Maybe there's one already and I don't know about.

Sorry if this has been covered, or is basic, but after our busy year, I'm just back to relearning customizing, etc. I'll have to go through all the webinars again. The record cold here in Florida has stopped our service work and I can once again play a bit with Method.

When Method rolls out an updated screen, and I've previously customized that screen, how best to incorporate the updates? Guess there's no automatic system, eh?

And, Is there an update wiki or something so we can see the history of the updates?
