I had a few of my franchisees having the same problem and as Iooked into the problem I found in each case the role was not defined in the user set up.

Mapping -

When attempting to map one or more addresses from the FieldServices Work Order List screen, several of our franchisees are getting a series of errors and odd browser behavior from both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

From Firefox, when we select a work order and then click More Actions > Map and Directions for Selected, we get the Google map flashing on and off and does not stop until we click the Show Options > Reset Map. However, if there is an address that comes up which Google Maps does not recognize it gives us the error that the location was found and that it "Located City and State only." Then if you click OK, it continues to repeat the error message over and over. To get out of that loop we have t actually click the close button.

From Internet Explorer, when we select a work order and then clikc More Actions > Map and Directions for Selected, we get the Google map with error messages that state, "InitializeError: ReferenceError: BBrowserIsCompatible is undefined". When we then click OK to that error message another Error message appears: "Error: The Geocoder has not been initialized" Then when you click OK to that error message the map comes up without any of the addresses mapped.

We are NOT in Compatibility Mode in either, but we tried it with the Compatibility mode and got the same results.

Scenario: I click on mapping and optimize my customer route. Now I go to my route list under work order list and print my route list. How do I get the route list printed there to print the customers in the optimized order?

Under additional information click edit lead status

On the opening page you can check or uncheck default for lead status

Is there a way to import from excel new information to existing customers. The API that I am using will not let me import to an existing customer. I have created new fields in the customer table and have customize my customer screen. I now want to import from excell the new information to existing customers. Does someone have an API that will allow me to do this?
