Help with MethodAPI

I am trying to import Contacts into one of my users method account. I have set up the methodAPI excel sheet. I only added one line for now to test. As i run the "Import Data into Method", I get an error:

"Error from the MethodAPI at row 2:
The field CompanyName does not support add."

Now in your webinar, I was hoping you would explain what that meant, but the webinar just skips over this error example and just deletes the cell info. and continues. Now I understand which cell is causing the erorr, but please help me with this. I wish to bring in many contacts, but need to find out why my CompanyName field will not take the information I am adding to the spreadsheet. Please help.

p.s.
In the methodAPI, I am using the "Contacts" Table as the table i'm editing. Do I need to make the spreadsheet have all the fields contained in the table in the first row? If I am not adding anything to a certain field, is it okay for me to not refer to that column/field in the spreadsheet? Thank you for your time.

Quickbooks Premier to Enterprise

Hello Method,

Just wanted to ask if there are any conerns with upgrading Quickbooks from Premier (what we currently have) to Enterprise? Please let me know if there is anything I have to look out for? Do they work the same? Do I need to uninstall method and re-install after i upgrade?

Conflicts with invoices but...

Hello

So now were getting conflict messages and they haven't cleared up. From what i understand, my coworker says all she is doing is logging onto method and opening invoices just to check information. She is not editing them at all, just opening it and closing the invoice. Afterwards we start receiving conflict messages. Why is this happening. Here is the message from method:

QuickBooks returned an error when adding/modifying a accInvoice record. The error was: An attempt was made to modify a Invoice with a date that is on or before the closing date of the company. Method looks like its doing another full sync, whats happenning?

Hello again, so now my admin station running method looks like its running a Full Sync.

This is the second time i've seen it do that within four hours. Neither I or my coworkers
asked method to run a Full Sync, but it seems to be doing that. Its taking a long time
to finish. Is there a reason why method is doing this on its own?

Supplemental:

I kicked everyone off of quickbooks and restarted the admin station. So there is no connections
to method.I started quickbooks and method did its usual beginning sync. But its taking a
loooooong time to finish this sync. My question is, may other users open quickbooks and work
on quickbooks while the admin station is still in the middle of syncing? Are there any known
problems? May user access method online while there is a sync going?

Method Keeps Quickbooks from closing.

Hello all, just wondering why quickbooks doesn't close sometimes. It gives a message saying that
method is keeping it open and that quickbooks will not close until method is closed.

This doesn't happen with all the quickbooks, but it has been happening with one user enough
to say that its a problem. We end up having to shutdown Method, and still not being able to close
quickbooks we end up having to force quit quickbooks which I don't like doing.

Let me know what to do, thanks.

Thank you for the reply. I have currently been dealing with other aspects of method, but i think we got that ironed out.

One more thing, i mentioned this before but didn't get an answer to this. When I log into method online, and I go to the Quickbooks tab, under the "Synchronize" section where it says "Computers To Sync with:" It used to have the name of the computer, but now it says "This account has no computer assigned". How do I correct this?

To add to that, I tried launching method last night again, it seemed like it froze again, but this time i left it over night and these are the error messages I got after I left the method run all night to this morning.

Please help us, my co-workers are starting to complain and express that they do not think this is working for us. So please figure out why method is not working for us.

Okay i checked and there are no Reports being generated and no scheduled reports
We do have some generated ones but they are all "inactive". When I tried to log into quickbooks and method launched,it looked like it was okay, but when I went and tried to do a "Full Sync", method freezes and will not do anything, indefinitetly.
I end up having to force method to end task. Also quickbooks doesn't close once this happens cause
it says that method is keeping it open, and that I have to close method and then quit. But there is
no method open cause i already "End Task" it, so I end up having to force quickbooks to quit also, by
using the "End Task" option.

So method is still not syncing when I ask it to do a full sync. Why is it freezing? Please help thank you.

Okay so I'm kinda getting tired of having to get method to launch correctly and to
sync. Again my admin station just sits there doing nothing. it looks like its trying
to sync, but in my task manager it shows 2 method integration items opened and
both are "Not Responding". This is now happening to all my computers with
method on them. What is going on. This has been down all day today(Friday).

Also I have one person logging into method and working, data entering, but because
method keeps failing to sync properly, she has already lost 2 whole days of work
because everything she entered in method DID NOT SYNC with quickbooks.
This is getting to the point where we are asking ourselves if method is really
the right tool.

What does this mean, "Error: There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. ---' Maximum request length exceeded.'"?

Also we keep getting "out of memory" errors when we are in method. And this is happening when we are doing small simple stuff. Why would we run out of memory?

Lastly, I noticed that under the "Quickbooks" tab where it has the Full Sync and Sync Changes buttons. There is "Computers to sync with:" This once had one of my computers, now it shows no computer there. How do I reapply which computer its to sync with?
