Sorry, but I still can't seem to get this to work. I have been working on this all day...and no luck.... so I deleted everything and I am right back to step 1.

I am creating a new table that I would like the "key" field to be the AccountNumber field on the Customer Table. (Ultimately, when I view a Customers Record...I want to have a separate TabSection that will show me a grid of "Things" from my "NewTable" that have the same "AccountNumber") So I am creating a new table for the "Things"... and I create the field "AccountNumber"... set it as type "DropDown"...set it to select from an Existing Table...select the "Customer" table...and in step 3 of 3 where I select the field containing choices... the pulldown only shows me 2 fields "FullName" & "RecordID"...what am I doing wrong?

Trying to add a Linked Field

I have created a new table which I am trying to Link to my main Customer Table. However, when I try to "add a Linked Field"... nothing is showing in the pulldown menus..they are all blank. Do I need to create a relationship between the tables before adding the linked field?

Problem creating Tab Links on a new Tab

Hi all,

I am having a problem creating Tab Links when I create a new Tab. If I click to edit Tab Links on a pre-existing tab the Tab Links dialog box opens allowing me to configure the links. However, when I do the same thing on a brand new tab I can't get to the dialog box. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the help. I followed your instructions however, I am still getting the "Connection Failure".... Looking in the MethodIntegration folder and looking at the EngineLog.txt file I see a number of errors stating "Connection could not be made because the target machine actively refused it 72.32.228.236:10000.... this would appear that it is the MethodServer refusing me... and not me refusing the Method server...does that make sense? Should I call "Tech Support" to assist with this?

Integration Engine Push Status - Connection Failure

I'm a new user so excuse me if this is a newbie question.

I have just installed Method and I am setting up my files and performing my first synchronization. I see that information is coming accross in Method...so things appear to be working. However, on the Method Integration Engine Dialog box I see that my Method PUSH Status is showing a "Connection Failure." I see from a previous post that this may be due to corporate firewall restrictions...yes, I am behind a firewall...so my question is what settings or ports do I need opened in order for the Method PUSH to work correctly?
