URGENT: Credit Cards not encrypting in Method

We had an issue last week in which a credit card # was updated in the payment field of a customer (NOT A LEAD) and the # did not encrypt. After I copied and pasted the updated card #'s into QB, the numbers and processed, the card number became encrypted in Method.

I changed the card to not compromise the client. The name of the customer is Jessica Crane.

Import Error

I am unable to update my database as before. I have been routinely updating my records by copying names and fields (Name -- Field Name yes / no).

I simply copy my data to the clipboard and normally get an import error. This gives me the opportunity to match "unique fields". This step does not come up any more. I just jump back to the integration tools screen. I have a LOT of updates. This is really troublesome.

This is the message I receive, but there is no chance to edit and re-import the failed records.

Inserted record 69 out of 100.

NOTE: 69 records have failed to be inserted so far.
Don't worry, once the import finishes you'll get the chance to edit and re-import just the failed records. (nothing happens after this message, I just go back to the Integration tools screen)

II am upgrading our sofware and want to make sure I'm covered. Let's keep our fingers crossed that a backup will not be needed.

How do I completely backup my Method data file?

I export my Method file quite often in CSV format so I can access a backup when I need it. SInce this is .csv, I cannot backup the picture files. How do I back up the complete file? I want to do complete backups in the event of disaster -- I am about to upgrade my QuickBooks file and I have a history of strange things happening.

In other words, the field is disabled once the new customer record is saved...but before it is saved, our reps can edit the field. Will the field be viewable if it is disabled? The field needs to be viewable at all times.

Sales Rep Field - Can it be "Read Only" after initial client set up?

Recently, we decided to make the Sales Rep field read-only. What this means is that the field is frozen when a new client is entered. This scenario will be a management nightmare -- this will mean that our sales force can only enter their lead's information but will be unable claim their lead without notifying an administrator. Is there a solution -- can the field be editable when a client is setup initially?

Greetings! I would like to check to find out if there were any compatibility issues with the newest release of QB Enterprise. When I upgraded to Ent V 2011, my entire database became disassociated -- all of my QB transactions lost their names! I was able to simply reconnect the backup with to Method using Ent 2010 with no more strange problems. It's been a while since I upgraded but I do not want to risk another disaster. Please advise.
