Recent change to "export grid" function?

Good morning,

Our company uses a screen with two custom grids to allow us to export invoice header & detail information for transmission to our fulfillment center.

Until around last friday, these exports would always have "column A" on the resultant excel sheet as a blank column. Exports now do not have a blank column for "A".

My question is, was there an update to Method that changed the way grids would export in this respect? There are a limited number of individuals here with access to make customization changes, and I know this screen has been considered completed for many months, so I thought it was worth asking if the change happened on the Method end.

Please let me know, as I need to have my fulfillment center change the coding for receiving the files if this change is permanent.

Hiding Inactive Payment Methods

Hello all,

I recently set up the payment gateway so that we could process credit cards without leaving Method.

That seems to have gone well, but there is a small problem I need to resolve before I have my customer service team start using the gateway full-time.

Our set up has payment methods set up for Mastercard and Discover that are denoted by "MAST" and "DISC". An import error (caused by a different software) created duplicate payment methods "mastercard" and "discover". I set them as inactive so that they cannot be used in QB, but these two (mastercard & discover) appear in the payment method list along wtih MAST and DISC.

Is there a way to remove these erroneous payment methods (aside from deleting them from QB, as that is a no-go)? If a customer service rep chose one of the wrong methods accidentally it would cause all kinds of problems.

I had been thinking about this in a different way, and wanted to reply to this thread and ask if there was any background logic that would prohibit using the same lead status values in this manner.

Our company generates leads from several sources, but must verify them based on territory.

My plan was to bring in new leads as "Open", then change them to "Qualified" once we made sure their territory was OK. Anyone who was not accepted based on territory would become "Unqualified."

It seems pretty straightforward, but I was just hoping for a sanity check.

Understood. Method Support is active. If you would be so kind as to take a look to see if it is a bug related to the export of that grid I would appreciate it.

If it has to do with screen customization, I totally understand that the ball would be in our (and Mark's) court.

Sorry, went a little "space cadet" on that last post.

Method support is already enabled on our account (Bungalow LLC).

The screen causing the problem is on the Customer Center Tab, the "Batching" tablink.

Please let me know if you find anything.

I did the steps outlined above and am getting the same error.

What do you mean when you say "enable Method support"?

I have also alerted our account manager, Mark Crews, to the issue.
