WebService Error

Hi,

I am trying to call the webservice from methods, but when i am trying to test the webservice, I am getting the following error

There was an unspecified error trying to post to the webservice. Check the URL and fuction name and try again. The address being used was:

But when I tried to call the same service from postman, fiddler and from the client application it is working fine. Are there any configuration need to be made to call the webservice please let me know.

Bill Payment

Hi Michael,

I am trying to update the Amt.To Pay in the Bill Payment Screen of Vendor Center. But I am not able to do that. The data is not getting updated for the column Amt. To Pay.

I have modified the grid and made it as editable in the grid. After changing the data in the Amt. To Pay column in the Grid, clicking on the Update link but the data in the Column Amt. To Pay is not getting update, but the other fields like ref number and vendor name is getting updated.

May I request you to please look into this and give an update.

Void an Invoice

Hi,

In QuickBooks there is a functionality to Void an Invoice. How can I include this functionality from Methods, so that I void an Invoice in methods and this should get in sync with the Quickbooks.

HI Paul,

I am trying to call a webservice from Method, but I am getting 500 Internal server error.

The webservice URL is http://sd.2xprime.com

And giving all the five parameters. On calling the webservice I am getting Internal server error.

When I tried to execute the webservice from the browser it is working fine.

May I requst you to please let me know if I am missing anything..

Hi Paul,

I am facing a problem during the Sync of Bills with the QuickBooks. After creation of the Bills from Methods, during the sync with the QuickBooks the QuickBooks is shutting down abruptly.

Scenario : I have created one bill from method. Then I triedto create another Bill from Method, then when I look at the QB it is notresponding. After that I need to close the QB and then reopen the QB.

It is happening again and again if I create more than one Bill continuously from Method.

Can you please let me know where the problem could be.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your reply. So from Methods we cannot authorize the credit card and then process, it is only we process the Credit Card and charge the Customer. Please correct if my understanding is wrong.

Hi,

I want to validate the Credit Card Number given by the user is valid or invalid. I have tried to use the action Credit Card Processing but this is taking doing the transaction in the customer account.

Can you please let me know is there any way so that i can validate the credit card rataher than charging the Credit Card.
