I have gotten to this project and am running into an issue. I am trying to use the landing page page load to hide the tab links, but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. I then went to the Tabs and unchecked Show for one of the tabs, with the intention of showing it depending on who was logged in, but that also doesn't work...very surprising as I KNOW it works just fine for our own internal instance of Method. Any ideas?

Suggestion: Remove Memo from Grid in Portal for Recent transactions

I have a suggestion that I hope you implement. We found that Memo was a column added to the default Recent Transactions Portal Screen. This is a problem as it is accepted that memos in transactions are meant for internal communication only and are not expected to show on any order confirmations, therefore should also not show through the portal. For everyone's protection, I think it would be wise to remove this as a default field in your layout.

It was reported just this afternoon that an error was being received from picking an email template.

Please check the Retrieve Value From Table action and verify all the criteria are set properly.

Turns out, on it's own, the text change for picking the template at line 6 for CC: restrieval had lost what table to find the CC: in. I fixed it, but I hadn't touched the new activity layout in weeks and also it was fine for all of today until the end. Why would that happen and how do we prevent it?

I switched them both to labels and added the leading text to what was the in the rich text and also added a label for the checkbox so now it returns true or false. I first did them all at 90, but it wouldn't adhere to text alignment so I switched to 270 and then it was able to properly apply my text alighments. I tested it and it works - much easier and less manual printer setting steps for our operations team!

Angle does not appear to be an option for a field that is a check-box type and also rich text, but it does work for standard fields. Do you have any other suggestions for the ones that don't have angle as an option?

I apologize for the delay in responding - I had other projects take over in priority. I found the issue to be that I was selecting the section properties and setting the dimensions that way and not the report properties. Depending where you click you get different properties boxes. I started from scratch and that is where I figured out the error on my ways. I did get it to print, but I still have to manually set the printer to landscape to get it to print that way. I am happy to design it in landscape, but I haven't figured out how to rotate the fields accordingly, if possible.

That was it! The customer made a payment and at some point we select a template for payments and it was that template. I have changed it to the payment confirmation email and we should be all set now. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction again. There are so many things I don't realize are out there happening as a result of certain actions, it can be hard to track down until I actually get in and have customized it (on purpose) before.

That worked. I did find that user logged in at 9:56PM and the email went out at 10:01PM, so I feel fairly certain somehow it was caused by an action by the user in the portal. He was overdue, so it was accurate - just poorly implemented.

It came from the account email address, not any particular user at 10PM, when no one employed at this company was logged on. I did just supply the portal log in information for this particular customer at 6:30PM last night, which is why I thought it was caused in the portal + the timing. I can't export the Audit Trail, I keep getting an error so I can't audit against that.

What causes the Account Reminder: Overdue Balance email? I saw one go out last night that also didn't fill in properly for field merges. I am suspicious it was somehow initiated by someone doing something in the portal:

This is what they Received:

Dear Customer.FirstName,

This is a reminder that your balance is long overdue.

The current balance is Customer.Balance. Please pay this as soon as possible.
