Hi Ronen,

1. No this does not happen when we log into the December version.

2. This happens when we log in under any user name

3. No we did not change anything to the roles.

I understand what you are saying. But your reply does not address the fact that whereever you edit the first activity from (the Activities grid or the Edit Activity screen), all future recurring events are also changed. In every other task/calendar program, when you edit any of the recurring events, you are prompted to change just that one or all events or all future events. This seem to me to be a serious bug within Method.

I have been using Method in my own business so I could recommend it to my clients. but this and many other issues seem to be so quirky that I am wondering if this is a good solution. I will address the other issues separately once we get this one resolved.

Recurring Events

We set up multiple recurring tasks for our clients' bookkeeping needs. We normally edit the status, make notes, etc right in the Activities list grid. When we do that, for instance mark a task complete, it changes all the following events to completed. If we update the description, it updates it on all the future events. This is a HUGE PROBLEM because we then lose the next week's tasks since we don't look at completed tasks in our Activities grid. How can we fix this?

Missing Tab Links in New January Version

When I logged into the January version of Method the tabs are there, but there is only one tab link per tab. For example under the Activities tab there is only an activities tab link. And under customize there is only the screen tab link. Is there something we need to do to see all the tab links we have in the December version?

Sorting Activities Grid

I tried to change the sort option on the Activities Grid to sort first by Due Date Start then by Activity Priority, but it didn't seem to change anything next time I went into the Activities Grid. I want to have the Activities Grid sort by Due Date, then by Priority High, then Medium, then Low. How would I do this?

Error when setting up Email Preferences

Was trying to set up Default Email Preferences under Customize/ My Account. I was able to get it to work when I used my yahoo account, but that is not the account I need to use. I was just testing to see if I could get it to work. Now I changed the server, user and password to our business email and when I click save and send I get thsi message:

Error with sending recipients;Server says: 553 5.7.1 <stephanie_luther@yahoo.com>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user info@qbottomline.com
; stephanie_luther@yahoo.com

It looks like something from my old setup didn't clear.

Setting up Default Status Filter for Activities List

When I go to my activities list I would like the list to not include completed activities. Is there a way change the default filter on the activities list?

I made the Duration field visible, but I don't want to have to enter time in minutes. Is there a way to change that field to hours?

Or Is there a way to make the timer field visible and allow the user to manually enter the time in that field, even though the timer functionality doesn't work in mobile?
