My problem truly comes down to Method is uploading my Leads as a customer instead of lead. I think it's because of my question of:

Why is it when I'm importing my file with THE necessary field of EntityType (and all records show Customer Lead), Method doesn't recognize this field upon import?

To try to rectify, I choose the option "use an existing field" - in that drop down box, there is NO EntityType field for me to choose???

Thanks so much!

Now, as per your advice earlier, my file includes EntityType as a field and Method doesn't recognize it as one of its fields. I'm confused because it seems this field must be included so as to not turn my leads into customers on the import......

I am using importing to a Contacts table. I have tried the copy/paste funtion and also uploading a csv file and get errors eitiher way.

the only time the import function has worked for me was when I used a Customer table but I definitely do not want to upload to a Customer table - just a contacts table.
