Reset Computer Sync

I have changed computers to new windows 8 64x. I have installed quickbooks again and method sync with listner and gives me
Method PUSH status: awaiting secure https connection constantly. I have tried resetting the computer to sync with in the quickbooks sync settings but to no avail.

Is there anything I am missing?

FYR - I have not changed to a new company file or new name!

Thanks, I have also seen this and made the adjustments but now my concern is particularly the estimate report. The rate column shows the rate before we add markup, this cannot be shown to the customer. There is a script which seems to sort it out but this is applied it changes the currency in the amount column back to USD. so I have changed the dollar sign there.

I have tried changing the currency to R0.00 (C2) in the amount column but this causes an error on the report so I have left it out there.

This is the best I can get it for now until you figure out a way to sort this out for good.

Please I know it may seem like an arb matter but this has caused me much frustration and days of fussing and trying to fix it. I am the owner of the company without an I.T expert to do this and I cannot keep going on like this, I need a fix very soon.

Currency changes

I am not sure if you guys have changed anything to do with currency lately but when we try to export to PDF an invoice, estimate or other we have the old DOLLAR symbol again. I have tried rectifying this in our browser settings and even checked our regional settings on the computers.

Please help as we cannot send anything at the moment.

Can you not just have the currecy reflect in all pdf's once the symbol is entered into the customise-display currency setting. We keep running into problems.

I have been checking if I could sort the symbols out in the report designer to no avail either. What does everyone else do that is not in the USA?

Estimate Rate

I want to be very clear!

I create estimates and im using the simple estimate template. and have not even started trying to set up the print templates for invoices etc.

My estimate printed template is showing the line item price as dollars and my total line item price as rands. Nothing i do can change this. I have tried changing the format string to {0:c1} and still does not work.

I continue to have this hassle and cannot get past it.

Please help urgently!

I would like to do a full reset on method as we will be using a new company file and do not need it to remember any info. Could you please give me instruction on how to do this.

Warehouse app

I am wanting to set up a seperate warehouse but I cannot even see the warehouse app that is mentioned. How can I get this working?

Thanks but since this was going on so long I started trying to repair this myself. I found that the problem is not with the regional setting as you guys are saying the system recognizes your regional settings. This is not true for both mac and PC as I was having issues with both. The fix is actually in the browser setting: eg if you are using firefox you go to preferences and set the language to english South Africa - or in any other case it will be the region you live. I did this on all computers and macs that we were having issues with and it resolved the problem. However I have still not tested wether this applies to customers that you email the invoice to direct from the system. Maybe you can find out for me. (Maybe you can give us a free month for me finding this issue for you?)

I have an issue with our Apple Mac and another windows PC, all regional settings are set for South Africa but the PDF''s are showing up in Dollars.

What can I do to resolve this?

We have also a further issue - if we save and send an estimate to the client they receive and open it and it diplays something different like dollars.
