Formatting the query using your suggested format didn't help. I used, 2012/Apr/01 and 2012/Apr/23 and still getting partial results. 3 Transactions out of 30 or so.

I'm trying to retrieve a sales order table based on TxnDate. This is the exact call of the function:

The response is:

Moreover, even if the results are retireved - I'm missing MANY of the entries. I'm only getting a partial list of those Sales Orders.

Suggestions?

Shipping Address Bug

Hi Method Team,

I found a wierd problem that happens only rearly - I'm looking at a customer's shipping address in Method. All the information is nicly entered in all fields, Ship To (3 Lines), City, State and Zip.

In QuickBooks I see the information Duplicated for some reason - I already tried to sync it mutliple times.

So this is the information in Method:

In the Ship To field:

Company #1

Nick

323 5th Ave

City: NY

State: NY

Zip: 10000

In QuickBooks I get:

Company #1

Nick

323 5th Ave

NY, NY 10000 NY, NY 10000

Any ideas?

Ted -

Another update - When we install Method Sync Engine on the admin user for some reason it’s not working on the other users.

Its working fine on the admin user but on all the other users (standard and other admins) we're getting a message when opening QuickBooks: "There was an error launching the Method Integration Engine. Please make sure there is only one link for the Method Integration under Start > Programs, and that is labeled exactly as "Method Integration Engine for use with QuickBooks".

Needless to say, even if we put a shortcut in that location, the Sync Engine won't start.

Now, if I install the Engine on that specific user independently we will start getting those QuickBooks errors (Unhandled Exceptions and other red errors).

Ted, I think you misunderstood me.

What happens if User1 has QB File #1 opened and User 2 has QB File #2 open. Both users are connected via Terminal Services to the same physical machine.

Yes, multiple QB files concurrently.

Nothing special, just an error pops out and closes QuickBooks.

I read online that you tested Method on Terminal Services environment through different providers? Did you also test a scenario as I described on the top?

We have QuickBooks hosted on terminal services with approx 30 users. Our users can choose between 20 different company files.

I had installed Method Engine on all the users - syncing works fine.

The problem is we're getting a lot of Excpetions and Error screens - Quickbooks shuts down in the middle.

Is Method capable of running in this kind of envorinment?

I noticed a few posts about this subject but as our scenario is a bit different, I thought I would share it.

We have QB hosted on Terminal Services where roughly 30 users can access QuickBooks simultaneously. Unlike the other posts, we have MULTIPLE company files, which means that those 30 users are not necessarily using the same company.

We have installed Method on the different users - my question is this:

Isn't it problematic to have Method Sync Engine sync the SAME company file on the same machine from multiple users? Should we expect issues down the road?
