Total at the bottom of a Grid in Method New

I can not seem to find a spot that allows me to show the totals of the column at the the bottom of a grid in the new method like there was in the classicic method. Can you please help?

Can you please show me the logic in the code for Assign Value to Action Reslut and loop through grid. I have tried all differnt configurations and it keeps deleting all the lines not just the one line.

I was painstakingly working on this and found that if you use the convert function that it displays the format of the date you want and also allows the grid to not have issues.

CONVERT(varchar(10), GETDATE (), 101)

I did find that GetDate() is working where now() and today() does not work.

Deleting a record in table using delete link in grid

I am trying to use a common delete approach in Method New in a grid and i have tried everything i can think of an is not working. Please help me understand how to use links to use the record ID of the grid's item link selected such as delete.

The where i have recently tried is not working:

Field.RecordID=Grid.Grid1.RecordID

ResultQuoteLineRecordID

Update to worse: I Went back to work on my report in report designer and now i can't log into that either. Please Help.

I am trying to use custom screens to generate a report. When i go to click the drop down in this function to select the report to use the list is blank, nothing to select. This should be basic but i have been doing everything i can think of to get the list to populate so i can select the report in this function. I have even gone to an existing function that generates a report (Print Work Order) when i open it it says something about "my report doesn't exist..may it has been re-named..." like it cant find it. I have been able to do this in the past. My reports are there in Report Designer just fine......it seems to me like my reports and my account have become disconnected? Please help asap!! Thanks

Log in Failure

I can not get my log into work on my 1 added user.

Pop up: We cannot find a matching login email and password.
Please verify your credentials or contact Method Technical Support if the problem persists.

I added the new user per the directions on the vid. The thing that strikes me as odd is that as the admin in the users panel in method new the email that is linked to the user name on the users is the oriniginal email that I had entereded in when i created the users a long time ago (both the addmin and the new user). Since then i have changed the email which does show when i click on the user.

Closing A Screen From Another Screen

I feel like there is an easy answer to this.

From a screen i want to Close and Save like normal but uppon closing or even before closing and saving i want another screen to open up. I have tried this with both show screen and show screen in pop up. The problem is the next action after calling the new screen to show is "Close Pop Up Screen". When i press the button it closes the 1st screen without showing the new screen first. I re-open the screen then that second screen pops up with references to the newly reopened screen. I have treid putting the show new screen after the close pop up and that does not work either. I have many actions in the save button that happen so i am not sure if they are tripping it up. So before i tried stripping it down to bare bones i wanted to reach out to you to see if what i want to do is even possible.

With one button on first sheet......Do actions> Show Pop Up screen> allow input then click button to save info on second screen >then close both windows. Maybe there is a way to close a screen from the second screens??

The action that causes this change is showing and hiding the buttons, it seems as though as soon as i show hide the buttons then it wraps the buttons instead of stacks them.

I want to change the format, Just the color would be fine, of a button with method actions. I tried using "Set color for field object "without success. I tested it and it worked just find for chaning the background color to a text box but not a button.

Your Customize Screen Editor's button "Publish" Does exactly what i want, changes red and the text goes to white.

I have made a work around by making 2 of the same buttons and hiding one and showing the other but this seems inefficiant. Also when i hide and show the buttons the "Keep this side-by-side other objects in the same cell" = False doesn't work and looks like it defaults back to "Wrapping" of my other buttons that are stacked before the action.
