It would really help if there was a disucssion document on the power of all the variables within the method system. For example what is a section, how might you use it and why would you use multiple sections?

I see that you uploaded your screen layout - if I could do the same it would save a lot of time and ambiguous text.

I am still a beginner, but going through forums in this manner seems like a recipe for chaos. PResumably Method code is structured in a more disciplined manner?

Re: Screen layout: labels not aligning with data fields

thanks, but not the specific answer that I am looking for.

Re: Screen layout: labels not aligning with data fields

Caption? Label field? What are these? where can I find a discussion document on these?

All I did was add fields to the table and then add those fields to a screen and published it. when I load the screen, the labels (for which read 'field descriptions') are lined up one below the other on the left whilst the data fields are also lined up one below the other but to the right of the labels. However the labels are out of synch with the datafields because the height of the data fields is greater than the height of the labels.

What is a free image hosting site? And besides isnt it a real pain to upload to another third party site when it would be simpler from the client perspective to be able to attach an image to the post?

Screen layout: labels not aligning with data fields

i'm a beginner.

I have created additional fields for the class table

I have created a screen and included those fields in to it.

When I publish the screen, the labels don't align with the data fields.

How do I rectify this?

Its a shame that I can't paste a jpeg to this message then you could see what I mean
