When they order, I then go into QBO to add them as a customer and create an invoice for them. This becomes a problem later when Method and QBO sync, and I then end up with two customers for the same person - one containing all of the financial and invoice information, and one containing all of my CRM information. Is there a way to merge these two accounts when this happens so that all my customer information is under one name?

Thanks!

I'm trying to play with conversions of leads into customers, and it seems that it can only be done via opportunities. What I want to know is, what is an opportunity used for? It seems more specific than campaigns and specific to a particular lead/customer. Are opportunities to be used as a series of contact to make one particular sale? For example, if I followed up with a Chiropractor after a trip to Dallas, TX, would a good Opportunity name be, "Dallas - August Follow-Up - Dr. Bob"? Then I later change the status whether or not they buy from me? Do Reps normally make an opportunity for every lead or customer, and make new opportunities after everytime a lead/customer buys?

Thank you!

So I again explain my delima as requested:

This week we switched from the Method CRM free-trial to a paid basic account. For the past two days, when we try to save activities, whether completed or a future follow-up, they do not show up anywhere under the activites or anywhere else in Method. About 80% of my attempts to save activities have failed. I believe the rate of failure may be higher for new leads than it is for activities that have been on my active list that I have completed this week.

Thanks
