I could go through all customers manually? But that would take a lot of time. Is this a bug or something? It must be just a syntax thing, but what am I missing?

The only edits I have done to the customer table is the addition of the yes/no fields like IsHVACCustomer, etc.

Creating a dropdown field link to an existing table

I tried to create a field under "Customer". It is called ReferredBy (Note that if you use "Referred By" with a space it seems to allow it, but it won't let you go further, without actually saying error). In the dropdown I choose to pick an existing table. I think Customers or Contacts would be want I want for this, as I want to be able to link this field to any customer OR lead that has already been entered. However, on the next screen where it says to choose the text field that contains the choices, it is either blank or record ID. Record ID is just a number, so that's no good. If I pick something like users or lead source, there is the actual option of those on the next screen, but fields like customers, vendors, or contacts is blank. What am I doing wrong?

They would not have a calendar to sync to Google calendar, right? Speaking of Google calendars... Can you add other users' Method calendars to your own Google calendar? From my calendar, I can see all users from Google Apps, but those calendars don't mean anything since they dont' connect to Method. I tried to add a calendar manually, like username:CompanyName, just like your Method calendar is labeled, but Google says it can't find it. Am I missing something or is this simply not possible to see other's Method calendars in Google?

This is for importing existing leads from another CRM as well as entering new leads to know what they need. I originally just added a checkbox object, so nothing really saved. Now I have created these fields in Customer. However, I went into a lead that was recently typed in to check the new box. When saving, it says this name already exists in Quickbooks, please change it. What? Why can't I just edit the record? I tried just editing a field that is common such as email. Same thing!! How can you not be able to edit lead information after you save it? I see hints of "default calendars" such as Call Center or Professional services, etc. These sound like resource calendars. How do you get them to show on the activity calendar page? I have tried some of the suggestions in general of testing with Activity Type or Assigned To. It seems that if you have multiple calendar instances, changing the filter only applies to the first calendar. So I created a completely new calendar tab, which then can show Activity Types. That worked. Now how do you make a resource calendar that you can apply appointments to, such as a training room, sales calendar, installation calendar, etc? How do you assign people to that calendar with some people not necessarily being actual users? Only users can be assigned or both?

Google apps for business only recognizes the generic employee calendars, not the CRM versions. I want to see everyone's calendars as well as certain resources in Google calendar.

Re: Using trigger action to create a task

Yes, but this would be an automated action by checking a different checkbox.
