Hello,

I have upgraded QB Enterprise (mistake #1) to V24.0.4005.0.

Method integration was wokring fine and then popped up wanting to upgrade to the latest plugin.

No problem I let it do its thing. Now I can not connect it to my Quickbooks File.

Integration copied all my informaiton over, any ideas as to why?

I'd like to email estimates within methodto other contacts and not just the main contact.

ive got many companies with quite a few differnt contacts we work with.

Can this accomplished?

Lead generation with Gravity Forms

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but here goes.

We have gravity forms on our site fro general requests.

I'd like to use this for lead generation and quote requests so that it drops right into Method and I get notified.

Has this every been completed using gravity forms in Word Press?

I think I might want to use this in Method only.

I find it easier to use Method than QB.

I don't really see the need to have this in QB for the purpose of marketing and customer support.

There are several different services we providie our clients.

In addition to print we also sell supplies for large format printers.

What I am looking to do is add printer information to the client for querying?

Is there an out of the box field I can use or is this a custom attribute I need to add

MS Exchange connection

Hello,

I've searched the forums and have found some infromation on how to get MS Exchange 2007 to be ale to communicate with Method.

I've set up the IP addresses per a previoue post here http://www.methodintegration.com/cs/forums/p/1302/4439.aspx#4439 from 2010 regarding this matter. The relay has been set to allow access and test emails get through to me just fine.

I've sent off an estimate to another one of my email address outside my domain. The email never makes it to my test address and in one instance I get an error email that it could not send the email unabel to authenticate.

This relay has been set-up so that no authentication is required. The only thing we are not doing is using port 465.

We are self hosting exchange.

Any ideas where to go from here?

However after some sampling I see where we ran into some problems. First off we were not allowing the sync to happen. Leads by default have wait for sync approval. If the stimate doesn't sync, it doesn't get an estmiate number when leaving ths Assgining reference numbers in Methdo unchecked. So then esitmate numbers are input manually. When we update the line items we loose the esimtate number, this I believe is due to the estime sync functionality in Method.

I've created 2 estimates one for a lead and one for a customer, when leaving the wait for sync unchecked estimate numbers are pulled from QB provided it is open and syncing.

The problem with this process though is that a lead I create and estimate for now becomes a customer in Quickbooks once I sync the estimate to get the number. I've got alot of leads that are just that, shoudl I not get the order they are still a lead, but now are showing as a customer in Quickbooks.

If I check Assign Ref numebr sin Method will this mess with Quickbooks numering sequencing for Invoices, Sale Receipts and such. Agin we do not use these functions in Method as of right now.
