Checkboxes & Report Designer

I have checkboxes in a workorder that want to reflect into a route sheet. In report designer, the checkboxes only shows up as true/false. Is there any conditional formatting that can be done to only fill in on the space of the report designer if the checkbox is checked?

- i.e. If the checkbox is checked, then the space will say "yes" on the report. If the checkbox is not checked, then the space will remain blank.

Conditional Formatting with Grids

I have a set of grids on a screen to help poplulate a certain report. If they are blank, then I don't want them to appear. They should only appear if there's something in them. What's the best way to make them only appear if there's something in them?

Outlook Plug In issue

Just downloaded the Outlook Add-In and now cannot login to the app. Used the same login information from Report Designer and website (which both worked fine). Is there a setting I need to play with?

Is there anyway that we can build an app that will interface with workorders specifically assigned to a user?

Reason:

We are a carpet cleaning that goes to the homes of our clients to perform service.
trying to go paperless
Each field technician is listed as a user, but not all of them have login access (not needed and can be too much if they all do).
We already carry mobile devices to pull up QBO, run credit cards, and utilize map navigation.
Can be helpful in being fluid for a dynamical operation.

We can easily get someone to build an app for this, but just want to get some insight in the community about going down this route first. Any advice will be greatly helpful. Thanks.

I tried working with all the sets, but it doesn't seem to cooperate very well from just sending the e-mail in the screen.

That didn't work, but I just tried the following and it did:

From the SAVE function I added "Get Sum" from the grid and then did an action result to enter value into screen. It populates everything once I hit save and works just fine.

I tried several functions with that, including lose focus/gain focus. It doesn't seem to help.

Work Order Calculations based on Total Amount

I'm trying to do some calculations off of the total amount of a work order within the work order. I added the total amount field, but that screws up my work order list calculations. I don't want to lose that, since it's a great visual aid when looking at the day's workload. However, need to find a way to add a field showing the work order total within the workorder to work out some calculations. What is the best way to add the field without disturbing the other work order screens?

I got the field set brought in, but give me a couple of days to play with it. I'll update the status by Monday.
