Hello, I've created a Web Service Call which sucessfully returns some info in JSON format.

I am using the Caracter Function: Find in JSON to retrieve a value from it, however it keeps coming up blank. The documentation doen not show any examples. What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to get the value for temp using the following:

Evaluate the Following:

JSON Text: {my action result]

Find Value for Key: Text - temp

Store Result in {my action result}

Sending texts through api/wevservice

Has anyone setup a system to send text messages through method? Looking for a recommendation for a service that can easily be integrated. Thanks!

Gmail Contextual Gadgets and Gmail Gadget

Hey all,

I received an email from Google about Gmail Contextual Gadgets being depreciated as of August. Will this affect the Gmail Gadget?

If it does, is there a plan to replace it with a Gmail Add-On? I hope so... I really like the Gmail Gadget.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply. I tried deleting the Contact portion of the code, however FullName is still not being interted. I see FirstName, LastName and Name, but FullName is blank when looking at the customer.

Thanks for the reply.

The code is inserting 'Name'. When I look at the contact screen Name is there but FullName is blank.

I tried modifying the code to enter both Name and FullName but it won't allow an insert of the FullName field.

Hey all,

Using arrowplane's code from here: https://gist.github.com/relish27/67432c710f4b4904ca6f

Everything works ok, however the FullName field is not being generated. It is my understanding that FullName is generated by Method. If I try to add FullName to the insert I get the response: 'The field FullName does not support add.'

Any ideas?

Thanks for the info. I'm going down this path now as we're moving from Joomla to WordPress.

Do the nusoap files get installed to the function.php directory? Does your code detect the gravity form submission or is there something I would need to put into the form?

Request: GPS Coordinates

Please can Method add GPS coordinates from the app, sooner than later? I see the fields are already present in some of the tables.

We are hoping to go paperless with our mobile staff by the spring and would love GPS logging capabilities. We've been looking at other field service apps and almost everyone else already has the capability. Fortunately we always circle back to Method after looking around as Method can do things no one else can, but are a little jealous of the others right now.

(also, please update the app!! it hasn't been updated since March. still have the android map issue!!)
