Regardless, am I supposed to be able to select the Action Result of a loop in something like an Enter Value Into Field On Screen (from Action Result)?

Hello,

So I have a loop through table action and set a name for the action result of the record IDs grabbed by the loop but when I add another activity such as "retrieve record from table" no Action Results are showing in the dropdown bar.

Issue is on my "In Use - Edit Customer" screen in the OnScreenLoad actions.

Got it,

Added the Stop Processing More Actions and switched over to sort by Descending; everything is still working and it should ensure future performance with increased records.

Thanks for the clarification.

It doesn't sound like a very efficient process so I guess I'll take a look at it again to see if I can have it identify the most recent record faster. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of records to test this out with so I can't confirm whether or not the current process is going to cause the screen load times to significantly increase.

Custom Reports | Won't open

Not sure if I'm missing something obvious but when I click on "Open Report Designer" when editing a report it just gives me a blank white screen. I tried it in FireFox and Chrome; in FF the screen stays the same (just shows Step 1 of 4 of Report edit screen) and in Chrome it goes to a white screen.

I've tried selecting a report (and not selecting one) and then clicking the "Open Report Designer" button but that doesn't seem to work either.

Is there something simple I'm missing?

Sorry for the delayed response; had some other things in Method to work on.

I figured out how to do this and figure I'd leave some instructions for people to reference:

1. Add a loop through table action that references the Activity table

2. "Where" conditions for the loop set to grab whatever ActivityType you want the last date for . E.g. if you want the date/time of the last email sent to a customer set ActivityType to "Email Sent"

3. Add "Retrive record from table" action that grabs the Activity Start Date (or whatever date you want) from the Activity table BASED ON Activity.RecordID = [name of the Action Result from step 2]

4. Insert it into a textbox

This works because it will grab all the Activity RecordIDs that have ActivityType = Email Sent but it will be ordered by most recent to oldest. So, the Retrieve record from table will use the most recent RecordID FIRST; since textboxes only take 1 record, the most recent RecordID will be inserted into the textbox and you can use that recordID from there.

Auto-clear Grid filters

Hello,

Is there any way to autoclear grid filters? e.g. I type in "hkui" into the "company name" filter field near the top of the grid to search for all company names [containing] "hkui"; looking for a way to clear all these filter fields with a button

I've tried adding an "insert value into field" to a "clear" button that set the grid fields (customer:companyname) to "" but customer:companyname is the value of the row within the grid rather than the filter.

I also added a "clear screen for new entry" and "refresh grid" but those don't seem to be able to clear out whatever I enter into the gride header filters.
