Filter grid using "OR"?

We have done a good deal of customization to our screens and worked with grids, but this is the first time I'm messing around with grid filtering.

I want to display only certain records in a grid - specifically any InvoiceLine row that beings with "Inventory" OR begins with "Misc".

It works beautifully when I add the filtering of "begins with inventory".. but adding a second filtering criterion must filter within the remaining rows rather than being applied with "OR" logic. Fine, except it seems there should be a way to specify "OR" logic in some way.

Is there a way, and if so, please advise.

We want to be able to export the list of names & emails for various external uses, including sending our own mass mailings outside of Method.

OK, I am working on concatenating the text together into one action result as described. Once I get it to work, how can I export that data for use as a contact list? I see only one way to send data to Excel and that's the "Export Grid to Excel." In this case the comma-delimited data is an action result variable, not a grid. Am I missing something?

Tried using the recommended approach and it does not populate the value on the screen if you're just viewing it, since nothing has changed. Since I placed the duplicate field where the original one was (in the Additional Info screen), I added the action to the Click event on the "Show additional info?" checkbox, and it works just fine.

Ah, OK. What if I 've set the field to read-only and the user can't change it? Is the Text Change event triggered only when a user changes the text, or will it trigger if it is populated by a script too?

Ah I see it... thanks. So is there no way to have a field appear in more than one place on a screen? Or will I have to remove it from that hidden section before I can place it somewhere else?

We are trying to modify our CRM_NewActivity screen and would like to display the current value of the dropdown field "CreatedBy" within the Activity table. However, the CreatedBy field does not appear in the "Add Fields" list within the Toolbox area. In fact, I only see text fields and checkboxes listed. Under Add Objects, I see that there is a dropdown object item available there, but my understanding (correct me if I am wrong) is that dropdown objects are different from fields. I tried adding a dropdown object that is linked to the "Activity" table and "CreatedBy" field, but nothing displays.

Tab list (screen) order

As you can tell from the many posts I have here, we are continuing to work on customizing Method to meet our needs. In this case, we are copying the default Method screens and creating our own custom versions from them.

My question is: I do not see a way to specity the order of Tab Links on each screen, or to replace default screens with custom ones. Is this option not available? I tried looking through the Help Center and cannot find anything related to this.
