Wondering if I can get any assistance with mapping fields from a Gravity Form field to existing Method fields using the Zapier app.

I have mapped my form fields to custom fields in Zapier, but it's not clear to me how those would get connected to Method fields. Perhaps I should use the Method variable names in the Zapier custom field label fields? In any case, with them mapped as I have them now, I am getting the following error in Method:

"We had trouble sending your test through.

[object Object]"

I had already successfully connected to the Method account in Zapier, but the action step is not working.

Any advice or guidance here would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Post to Method via PHP / Gravity Forms

Here is a post with a working PHP / Gravity Forms example: http://www.method.me/cs/forums/p/9307/31447.aspx#31447

Re: Unable to access Method API

I got it to work. Here is a post with a working PHP example: http://www.method.me/cs/forums/p/9307/31447.aspx#31447

Re: [MethodAPITableListResult] => Failure.
I ended up using nusoap: http://sourceforge.net/projects/nusoap/

In my situation, I have a form on a WordPress site using a Gravity Forms form. I wanted to continue using the GF functionality, but to also submit directly to my client's Method account. I am not sure if this is the case for everyone, but for new customer leads I needed to insert an entry in the Customer table as well as the Contacts table. The unique identifier for both is the full name (or "Name" in my example).

Failure. The API could not validate your log in. Please make sure you have entered the correct Company Account, User and Password, and that each are spelt correctly. Also, ensure that this User has been configured for Method API access by going to Customize > Users, editing the User, and ensuring that there is a check in the 'Is Allowed to Connect via MethodAPI' checkbox.

I've double-checked the credientials and they are correct. I'm also able to return values when using this person's code -- https://www.method.me/cs/forums/p/6818/25395.aspx#25395 Which seems to tell me that my credientials are correct. But that is not the method I'm wanting to use. (I want to use MethodAPIInsertV2). It kind of seems like this error is generic, based on how many times I've seen it listed for various things in the forums.

It would be awesome if there was a Method-approved PHP example in the API docs. By searching in the forums, there's tons of people who have been looking for this, for years.
