On the Opportunity screen I have a button that triggers a new activity based on the Opportunity. It populates the Contact information at the top correctly, as well as the comments and type.

But, I want to be able to automatically poopulate the "Link to Existing Opportunity" field, as this is created from an Opportunity. When I go to program that, I cannot find the appropriate field that contains that information.

I'm on the "Edit Opportunity" screen when the button is clicked. I have an action set - "Insert Records Into Table" where I have selected the table "Activity". I can select "Opportunity - Record ID" as the "Field(s) to Populate", but in the Populate Using this Value dropdown there is only Opportunity Stage and Type to select. It doesn't make sense, because I'm coming from the screen that has the Opportunity information.

Thank you!

I'd like to take over one of my users accounts to do some testing. We're revising our sales process, and I need to see how to make appropriate changes within Method to accommodate that.

But, I don't want to add a new user and I want to be able to see any reminders/emails that would be generated by stepping through the process.

If I temporarily change the Notification email for this user, does that mean I can redirect their emails - even though I can't change their "Sign In Email"? I don't want them to have to deal with the test emails, but I don't want to add a new user just for this purpose.

We've been using web to lead for a while, so this is not a new issue. When someone fills out the form, duplicate records are created within Method's Activity List.

One record is catgeory "Web Comment" the other is category "Other", both created at the same time with the same information, but with sequential Activity List numbers. So for each Activity we show one completed (since the internal user reached out to the prospect) and the other Not Started.

Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted to fix this duplication?

Thank you!

We are trying to implement a script that renders when a user successfully completes the form and the Thank You Message displays. However, when inserting that in the Thank You message via the Insert à Source Code, the non-text content is being stripped by the wsywg editor making it impossible to embed the JavaScript within the Thank You message. Are there any configurable settings, user permissions or necessary tags that would allow the wyswyg editor to save that embedded JavaScript into the Thank you message? (Please note we’ve tried unsuccessfully using the tag, , as well as wrapping the contents in a // tag)

As my Master table I'm using Customer, and attempting to use the Detail Tables of Invoice.CustomerRef and Transaction.CustomerRef.

My report shows the transaction number, the date of the payment transaction, invoice number, po, rep, paid status and paid amount.

My issue is filtering the report to the correct date range and paid status. I have a Detail Band that's using "Customer.Transaction.Customer" as it's Data Member. When I attempt to create a formatting rule, I cannot find the appropriate fields (transaction date, transaction number).

In the Formatting Rules Editor, if I change the Data Member to Customer.Invoice.Customer I get the following error: "Index and Count must refer to a location within the buffer." I have no idea what that means or how to fix it and be able to filter on the fields I need to filter on.

Thank you!
