And then I added view filters to a grid that use those shared results.

Afterword I clicked save and got the following pop-up:

Oops, something went wrong.

And yes, I signed out and signed back in, and it doesn't do anything.

Case Studies?

In Method: Classic there used to be a list of practice case studies to introduce users to different parts of method and gave real-life scenarios. I was wondering if there was anything like that in the works for Method: New?

Obviously, you guys are still working on pushing out content, but those practice lessons helped a lot in Classic and it would be great if we could get something similar to that for New.

Also, on an unrelated topic: When are the different controls going to be available in Method: New (Tab Grouping, Accordian, Button Groups, Help Messages, etc)?

Creating a list for unique fields?

I'm using Classic Method and attempting to create a drop-down box that will allow me to assign all customers/vendors within a specific area to a specific user, based on the city/state that the customer is in. That user will then be able to delegate the tasks to their crews depending on the region/district that the person is in.

I created a drop-down box for both the city and the state and linked them to fields from my customer table; however, I want those drop-down boxes to only contain the unique values.

I tried setting the OnScreenLoad actions to start a loop through the table to retrieve all the records, I then set the record ID to > -99, set the Only Distinct Values to the City field in the table and then made that action result into a shared result.

I then built my drop-down box. Accessing the same table/field as I did in the OnScreenLoad action for my Object Choices and then sent a filter for the City field, built a selection list, and got the value from the shared result.

Now, all I'm getting is the last City field, and am not sure what to do. If I don't set up the filter (I haven't for the State drop-down box), it takes it directly from the table, thus ignoring my OnScreenLoad actions and loads up all the data and not just the unique files.

I'd prefer a non-SQL work-around, as I know it's possible to do it simply with the Method function. I'm assuming the changing the AR to an SR is where I'm losing the rest of the data, but I'm not sure how else to get it into the filter.

Thanks,
