michael,

i checled for a recordid validation in step 7 of the grid already, but went back and rechecked. the only validation set up is one for theaccount type. i removed that and it appears to work now. not sure what the hangup was with the recordid, since it wasnt one of the rules. thanks

I built a screen for inputting credit card purchases from scratch that was modeled from the "Check" screen (I started from scratch so I could use the correct table). Everything is displaying properly, the dropdowns work fine, looks like the correct information is pulling in. However, when I go to save, I'm getting this error message: The 'Save' action could not be completed.Validation on: RecordID.Validation rule: must a numeric value"

I also noticed that as soon as I click in the "Account" field in my grid, there is a message at the bottom of the screen that says "Insert New Record in Progress". My assumption is that the new record is not getting a unique identifier assigned. However, I'm at a loss as to where to go next, since the RecordID field doesn't show up on Step 2 of the grid wizard (it's listed in Step 9).

Any ideas?

I followed these steps to set up a Credit Card transaction entry screen. However, when I click Save/New, I'm setting an error message that reads "The 'Save' action could not be completed.Validation on: RecordID.Validation rule: must a numeric value"

I looked at the RecordID field, but there isn't a validation rule set up. Any suggestions?

Help - Unposted Credit Card Transactions

I created a screen for credit card transactions based on instructions I found on the forum. I've tested it and it's all working fine. The issue is that now I have 5 unposted test transactions, and I can't figure out where to go to delete them. They are all waiting on Sync Approval. I was able to delete the transactions that posted to the QB bank accounts from the "Write Checks" screen, but can't find anything similar for the CC transactions. Help is appreciated.
