Hi,

The program will use IEM_Sales_Order(v4) or IEM_Sales_Order(v5), in different cases.

I load the contents, but the webSite field is still on the report designer. and the web program still not able to render it.

Please help. even I delete the [Company.CompanyWebSite] field from the report designer, the web app still render it.

Hi,

We just expericend an issue that the PDF report failed to render a field. Even if we delete the field, the pdf still not correct. Please help.

The report template name: IEM_Sales_Order(v4)

the error fields Company.Company.WebSite

in the top-left corner, you can see the field [Company.CompanyWebSite]

in the pdf, the system does not replace it by the value, but still show the field name.

and even if I delete [Company.CompanyWebSite] from the report designer, the pdf still show that field name.

It seems the report designer does not save the content correctly.

issues while access shared result, and later used in a insert to table

Hi,

Here is the issue:

1. I have a calculated value, and store in a shared result "SO_NO"

2. get this shared result "SO_NO" to an action result "ACTION_SO_NO"

3. insert a new record to a Table (Sales Order) with "ACTION_SO_NO" as the refNum

The problem is, refNum of Sales Order table is sometimes empty (2 of 5 tests). However, to show ACTION_SO_NO on the screen, it has value.

One of your staff suggest me to put SO_NO or ACTIO_SO_NO on the screen, then insert the value on screen to refNum while creating Sales Order. the result seems the same.

The only thing I can do is to dump my action result on screen, however I have no way to know the value actully insert to a table. May I know how to debug this kind of error?

Our clients cannot access method web app in China, however, the API access is fine. May I know if that is a known issue for method.me in China? Any way we could make it accesible in China?

Method Report Designer failed to connect to database

Hi,

This morning, my clients experience error that cannot load report correctly. The error is like

Error^Action Sequence Order:174^"Message":"ERROR: There was an unspecified error loading the report. Please check your Generate Report action to ensure all filters are setup properly, and that the report loads correctly in the report designer."

I've checked the codes, nothing been changed. Try to login to report designer, The error message is "cannot connect to the database."

Anything wrong in the method system to load the report? Please help, we need it to create invoice.

No internet connection is available. Please check your connection and try again.

Hi,

while using Chrome for method, it now shows some of this error message whenever I click some links. I can switch tabs, do some screen update. however, this message popup from time to time and blocks important functinos.

not sure if that is related.

We depends on Chrome a lot to do method and other programming. Please help. Thanks.

Our Chrome version:

Version 68.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Been trying to clean cache, change machine, change router, still the same. We cannot use other browsers, only Chrome.

Any issue when send mail with report as attachment?

Hi,

Starting this morning (Los Angeles time), we exerpeicen the issue that email with report as attament does not work. The email is sent but no attachment. What we are dong is to generate a report and save it to a action result, then use this action result as attchment when send out email.

If we just generate that report and show it in a new window, then it is fine, we can get that report, but not from action result. The weird thing is, if we generate that report and show it in a new window, then we could send that attachement out till we close the screen.

any idea? please help, that is kind of urgent.

I use active SalesOrder RecordID to filter the result. and use Filter Safeguard to limit it to one record only. For the same code, if I check "Show in new window", that report is generated and can be downloaded. If I uncheck "show in new window" and just save in action result, that action result can not be attached to my email. If I change filter safeguard to "Always generate", and save it to action result only., still not able to get that action result as attachment.
