Changed estimate template isn't showing in Method

    Changed estimate template isn't showing in Method

    I made changes to an estimate template and it's not updated yet into method.  It is still showing the old version.  How can I fix this?

    Hi pookiefeb

    Have you set the new Estimate template as the Default Print Template? Or is it that you can't set it as the default because it hasn't shown up yet?


    If you haven't there are a couple of ways to do this. set it yet 


    Option 1 - If you have Field Services installed you can set the default Estimate and Invoice Templates through it.

    Step 1 - Open up the Field Service Center tab and view the Dashboard

    Step 2 - In the right hand column of the top section you should see 'Customize Templates...' under the Settings heading, click on that

    Step 3 - Select your chosen Estimate template from the dropdown list and click 'Save & Close'. The new template should now be usable



    Option 2 - If you don't have Field Services installed or you want to change the defaults for any of Check, Credit Memo, PO, Sales Order, Sales Receipt as well you can do it with the following steps:

    Step 1 - Go to the Customers tab and view the Estimates screen

    Step 2 - At the bottom of the screen you should be able to see the 'More Actions...' button. Click on that and select 'Customize Print Templates...'

    Step 3 - Select your chosen Estimate template from the dropdown list and click 'Save & Close'. The new template should now be usable
