Random email sending messages

    Random email sending messages

    Greetings,

    I am get this message though out Method. Dosent matter if I am sending out a invoice, report, case.Some days i get this all day long, some days never at all.

    Error^Action Sequence 31. Error with user authentication: Server says: 500 5.5.1 Command unrecognized: "AUTH LOGIN"

    I called ATT today. They said I was trying to send this at a time the server was really, really busy and because a program, Method,  is creating a email, there are extra steps that ATT takes that are taking place to make sure your not spamming.  I was at a Kinkos one day and the same error message popped up. The interesting thing is, even if the message appears, the email still goes through.

    Hey John,

    Thanks for that extra bit of info. As for the email still being sent it's kind of hard to tell if that is always going to be the case since all Method does is pass it to the SMTP server and it takes over (The error message that you are seeing is direct from the SMTP server).
