User Account is Locked Out While Attempting to Add OL Contact to Method

When a user (not the administrator) attempts to add an Outlook contact to Method using the Outlook Add-in v 2.1.40 the following error is encountered:

    Error Returned from MethodAPI
You have attempted to login without success 5 times in a row today. our account has been placed on hold until the administrator can unlock your account.

(the error starts at the the first attempt, and as the user tries to close the message box, which will not close, each successive mouse click increments the login failures up to 5)

    Finally, the following is displayed:

    Cannot find table 0

(this message also appears sporadically in the Add-in set-up for this user)

    Hi haident,

Have you given that user permissions to access the Method API and the tables needed for the Outlook plugin? When you setup a user on Step 8 of 10: Access to Tables, you can give them access to the Method API(Which is what the outlook plugin uses and you have an option to give them access to all the tables used in the outlook plugin.

OK, that was at least part of the problem.

However: now the user get a message that "user does not have permissions on this table."

I went back to screen 8 of the user setting and it is set to "this user only has access to specific existing tables" with the drop down set on "All tables required for Outlook Integration."

I guess the easy fix would be change the setting to "this user has access to all existing tables," but its seems like the current setting should work.

I just added the beta of CRM Pro. Could this be putting some tables into play with the Outlook Integration that are not being addressed by the setting in the user configuration?

    Haident,

With All tables required for Outlook Integration selected did you click Add Table?

Tested - same error regarding user does not have permission on this table.

As expected it work with permissions on all existing table, so it look like there is some CRM-related table that is not getting added.

When I hit OK on the error it then opens to screen to add the contact, so this is not the same behavior as before.

Re: User Account is Locked Out While Attempting to Add OL Contact to Method

If I have the user setting on "allow permissions on selected existing tables" (with those for Outlook integration being the ones selected), then I still get the error about not having permissions on this table when I first try to add a contact to method, but if I hit the OK button on that message it then goes on to the screen where the contact details are set-up to me pushed to Method.

If I have the user settings for all existing tables, then it works with any problems.

    Hi Haiden,

Add the PaymentMethod table to the list of tables. Let me know if this works.
