Duplicate Permissions in QB for Method

I was investigating some sync issues my company has been having and found on the forum a suggestion someone had made to check the permissions that QB has to allow applications to interact with it.  (see that thread here: http://www.methodintegration.com/cs/forums/p/1187/3993.aspx#3993 )

When I went to Edit => Preferences => Integrated Applications => Company Preferences,  I noticed that there are not two Method applications listed, but four.   There are two listings for "Method Integration Engine for use with Quickbooks" and two for "Method Integration Engine Listener".  What could have happened for this to occur, and would it have any effect on the abiliity for Method to function?

Also, I am wondering if any user or developer has noticed if the listener slows down the computer they are working on or makes QB work slower?

    Thanks,

         Matt

    Hi Matt-

In some cases there can be multiple listing for Method this sometimes happens when we update our certificates but shouldn't really cause any syncing issues.

In our Intial setup guide found HERE we have a whole section on troubleshooting the sync engine.

During a full sync or changes only sync it could potentially cause QuickBooks to run a bit slower. Do you have the Method Sync engine installed on all computer that use QuickBooks?
