You can add an action to the dropdown field, that will be triggered by a button click (a button with 3 dots would appear next to the dropdown box), to show a pop up screen with a grid containing the existing entries. Add a button with actions so when users click on it the new entries are saved to the grid. You may also want to add a delete option next to the existing entries in case you need to use it in the future.
