Trouble Importing Customers from Xcel

    Trouble Importing Customers from Xcel

    I am having trouble importing a customer list from Xcel.  I had to change the "company name" column because there has to at least be a "name" column.  Fine, I get that.  But then when I went to import it, I was declined because I can't "have an empty value in the "name" field".  It gave me that notice on a previous import and all I did was went back to the xcel document and typed in some name for each customer that did not oficially have one.  BUT, this time around, none of my rows in the "name" column are empty........

    Hi PetzLife D,

    When you're importing your data on Step 2: Prepare Data, ensure that there are no duplicate fields on the 'Select the columns to import' section. Take a look at my screenshot below, you'll see that the Name field in my CSV file (surrounded by quotations) is being linked to the Name field in the Customer table (selection from the dropdown list). Go through all your other columns to ensure that no other columns are being imported in the the Name field of the Customer table. Ensure all the dropdown selections used are unique fields.
