    Problems with remove HTML

With the Eport Grid to Excel action there is an option to remove HTML tags, this doesn't appear to function.  Anybody else having this problem?

    Hi Mark,

Works fine on my end on both an editable and read-only grid. Where are your html tags being used, in the cell values? And what are the tags you're using? Can you include a screenshot of your grid and of the exported file.

    Here's the resulting excel file

Here's the grid I exported. It's based on the activity table and the field containing the html is the regular comments field.  I double checked that the remove html box was checked in the export action.  Also, prior to this post I added a second button but got the same result.

    Answer

Still can't replicate it, I even enabled the Show in HTML editor option for one of my fields. What field type is your Comments set to in the table? Can you email me the Company Account name along with the screen/table names, also please enable the MethodSupport user.

    Hey Deb,

It is working correctly on my end. Which Table is it on the Grid that it is exporting, I can try replicating exactly how you have it setup to see if I am running into the same problem.
