    Two email addresses

    I recieved an email from a lead from a different email address, how do I enter the new email address to method?

    Hi Marcelo,

    Click on the Contact was not found link on the Google Gadget then search for the customers name. You'll be able to select the customer and add this name/email as an additional contact. Hope this helps!

    When I search two names appear, the customer lead that was in method before, and the new name with the new email address, but it does not have a "type", and the gadget does not find it.

    Not sure why it doesn't have a type, it should be either a Lead/Customer or Vendor. What happens if you select the result with an empty type field? Do you see the customers information? If so add the contact to that record then refresh your Method web page and see if the new contact is associated with the correct Customer.

    What is the best aproach to a client with two emails?

    Create a new field in the customer table? "email2" or add a second contact with the same name to the customer

    We add our additional emails with a new contact but this is a personal preference. Do what you believe would be best for your work flow. If adding a new email field in the Contacts table, remember to take into consideration other screens in Method that rely on emails, i.e. List Builder, Cases, Activities, etc. If you need to send emails to both of the contacts separate addresses then you should create another contact record.
