• GetScreenURLV4 MIurl

Testing the call at https://www.methodintegration.com/MethodAPI/service.asmx?op=MethodAPIGetScreenURLV4 is returning http://link.methodintegration.com/xxxxx wether I enter link or MIurl in the DomainLinkOrMIurl parameter. I was hoping to have it return MIurl.cc/xxxxx so I can use it in an email and not have it be so long.

  • Missing Estimates

We received this email - [quote]I added a lead into the system and created an estimate for them. When creating, I unchecked "wait for sync approval" not realizing that it would convert the lead to a customer. Both the lead (customer) and estimate synced to quickbooks, but now when I search within my estimates the estimate that I ...

Okay, thanks for taking a look Adam. What about hiding those columns from all users? Would that be possible to do without screwing up the billing? Regards, Alex

  • Portal Time Sheet Entry Grid

Hello, I set up a seperate portal for my employees to enter time sheet entries, so I have it tied to the time sheet entry screen. I would like them to only have the ability to edit their own time sheet entries, but I can't figure out how to adjust the setting on the grid so that they can only see their own entries. Can someone ...

  • Re: impossible to set fonts and have them "stick" in email templates

I'm sorry I wasn't clear on this. I know how to create a template. I've made a dozen or more. However, no matter how many times I change the font in my email template to Calibri and 11 pt, the font in my received email (sending to myself to test) is Times New Roman - of various sizes.

  • Re: impossible to set fonts and have them "stick" in email templates

Hi Jdibona, Yes, you are able to change font type & size for email templates. To do this, you will first have to: Go to the Home tab then click on the Email Templates tab link. Edit the specific email template then click Save. *Note: I highly recommend making a duplicate of the stock template before ...

  • Estimate Numbers

We received this email from a user - I cannot find the place where you can choose to enter your own estimate #s instead of having Method auto-fill that field for you. Can you remind me where it is. Right now it is auto-populating with a number and overriding what I have entered. Allison, There is a setting under the ...

  • impossible to set fonts and have them "stick" in email templates

I have been fighting this problem for 3 days and finally got fed up. Is it even possible to set a font other than Times New Roman for email templates? I've tried typing/pasting the new content into the editor and then setting the Calibri font and size to 11 pt and I've tried setting the font and size the very last thing before saving the ...

  • Re: Field Service - Hiding cost information on work order screen

Hi Alex, As you found, you can hide the Rate and Amount fields when the screen first loads. Unfortunately, I don't see a way to hide individual columns from certain users. - Adam

  • Re: Due Date Start and End

Hi Jule, Here is a similar post outlining how to take out the time in a DateTime field. To insert the day of the week, I suggest dragging a textbox object onto your screen to show the value. From here, you can use a Date Function action (specifically, the Get Day of Week function) and then an Enter Value into Field on Screen ...
