Edit your screen, then edit the field which is not allowing input. Click the Advanced Options link on Step 1 and you'll see the Read-Only option. If this box is checked then that's your problem, so just remove the checkmark then Save and Publish the screen. If not, then we need to know what the field type is in your table (i.e. Text, ...

It is just a brand new field this is open text. I don't think it is set to read-only.....how do I tell? I am VERY new to Method and learning lots, so I apologize if these are 'simple' concepts that I am just not understanding!

What do you mean it's not allowing input. Is this a linked field or a brand new custom field? If custom then what type of field is it, i.e. Text, Integer, Dropdown, etc. Is it set to read-only on your screen?

The reason some records are not fully deleted right away is that Quickbooks is the master record so to speak. Since its the master record, we need to check with the Quickbooks file before deletion to ensure there isn't any sort of data incompatibility.
