I am a new user, and I want to slowly to convert from the software that I use now to method.
I have been reading about tags, and I am not sure if I should use tags or create a new field in the customer screen to divide the customers in different types (commercial, residential,etc).
What is better in this case?

Lets say I have two types of customers, commercial and residential. The software I use now (QXpress) allows you to filter the residential customers, create a list and memorize it.
Then I can use the memorized list to filter anything I want like invoices, estimsates, reports, emails, letter etc.

OK...this is driving me crasy and causing all kinds of problems. Every time there is a QBO sync's occurs somemore customers are inactivated. I have to run the activate program every day +. I think it is causing more problems than I have even figured out yet. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't heard of any issues specifically with 64 bit servers. So you're able to perform a full sync? Could there be something in the network/firewall that is preventing Method PUSH from staying connected?

Yes this can be done by adding a filter to the grid, however, what screen did you add the grid onto? The Edit Customer screen or your custom screen? If you added it to the Edit Customer screen then you can add a filter where the Customer Record ID is equal to the Current Screen Active Record ID.

I added a grid but I need to limit the data shown in the grid to the current customer. Is there a way to do that with a Filter or something?

I've gone thorough all of the issues outlined but still getting the same error. Data does seem to be synchronising however.
Are there any known issues with 64 bit servers?

Hi Marcelo,
How do you want to filter the report? Can you provide an example of what you are looking to do? It is generally better to use Method to filter the report. There is a filter section on the Generate Report action that you can use to filter based on the criteria you need.
