Adam, The problem isn't resolved yet, I still have it in numerous other grids, and I don't know what the actual issue is.  It did go away in one grid, but I didn't do anything different than usual. rolf

I was watching Val's Webinar that discusses CALENDARS.  I want to create a Calendar that just looks at our "INSTALLATION" activitiy type.  I changed the resource to ActivityType just like in the Webinar but still nothing shows on the calendar.  I've played with it and removed the default resource and label and ...

I was able to get it done using the "STRING VALUE" at the top left of the page in Report Designer. thx.

Adam, Further to my last post, I played around with the values of some of the column widths on one of my grids, and the problem went away. So, it appears to be something in the algorithm used to calculate the actual column widths in the displayed grid. Hope that helps. Rolf

Adam, Yes, that's the symbol I'm referring to.  My grids are generally set up with auto grow, users can set their own filters, and a combination of pixel and percentage choices for the column width. I don't know how to duplicate this problem either.   Rolf

Nevermind, I finally got it...thanks!

I have everything set up this way, and it only sends the date entered into the DOB field to the Age field.  It appears that there isn't a calculation made, but I'm pretty sure it's entered correctly.  Does the field that it's send to need to be an integer field instead of text?
