No. All items in general have a tax code assigned to them (or I suppose they could be blank). When doing an order, QB/Method applies the customer's correct tax code to all items, overriding any existing/default/blank ones.
The problem I'm having is that this does not happen for an item group.

In the "Assigned to:" filter section of the calendar screens, how can you modify the screen so that ex-employees no longer show up? I have the ex-epmployees Inactive but I haven't found a way to modify the Filter Section so that they won't show up in this section.

I tried to search for this one, thinking someone would have asked, but I couldn't find it. So forgive me if I missed it. Previously I asked about sending an email based on an action such as checking a box. That's a built-in Advanced function. Can I do the same with a task? I can't seem to find that option.

So from what I understand you have a custom tax group setup called "G" for your Group Items and when the transaction is synced to QB you'll need to correct it manually?

So you're saying Method cannot be used to process orders that may contain "package" items. They will be transferred into QB with a single (default) incorrect tax codes?
Please confirm.

Hi MikeB,
I believe there is a limitation with Group Items when it comes to the QB SDK. It only supports new additions, but not modifications, which means you can add a new group with items but once its added you cannot edit it through Method CRM.
