I don't believe you can edit the values in that grid to only show active employees only. What you can do is edit the screen and add a second resource in Step 3: Choose Resources. You can add the 'IsActive' field as an additional resource. You can then type "True" in the grid to show only active employees.

Yes, we're using QuickBooks Canada.
So if an item has a basic GST tax applied to it, but the invoice is in an HST province, the HST for the customer overrides the GST for the item on the invoice. The problem is that this doesn't happen for groups, and I don't think you assign a tax code to a group. The tax code for each item shows up ...

Are you using the Canadian edition of QuickBooks by any chance? The reason I ask is because the QuickBooks SDK is very picky for QB Canada (and I'm assuming other International versions) when it comes to this.
I don't remember all the rules around it but QB Canada has different rules then QB USA. What I mean by that is ...

Hi Suzanne,
You will have to edit the "Save & Email" button of the screen to attach the estimate to the email. First you'll need to add the 'Generate Report' action to the Save & Email button before the Send Email action. This will create a pdf of the estimate (same as print preview) and ...

No. All items in general have a tax code assigned to them (or I suppose they could be blank). When doing an order, QB/Method applies the customer's correct tax code to all items, overriding any existing/default/blank ones.
The problem I'm having is that this does not happen for an item group.

In the "Assigned to:" filter section of the calendar screens, how can you modify the screen so that ex-employees no longer show up? I have the ex-epmployees Inactive but I haven't found a way to modify the Filter Section so that they won't show up in this section.

I tried to search for this one, thinking someone would have asked, but I couldn't find it. So forgive me if I missed it. Previously I asked about sending an email based on an action such as checking a box. That's a built-in Advanced function. Can I do the same with a task? I can't seem to find that option.
So the process would go as ...

Thank you, Ashur. I know of the Send Email action, I just want to fully understand how to use it. Right now I would like to be able to email a specific user, not just type in an email address. I just want to understand all the syntax of the myriad of choices when picking what each email field does and from where it pulls ...

Apologies, please disregard my last post it wasn't meant to be posted here, multi-tasking gone wrong
So from what I understand you have a custom tax group setup called "G" for your Group Items and when the transaction is synced to QB you'll need to correct it manually?
