Mike - old post, however, I wanted to follow up with you that we are now accepting invites for the Gmail Gadget for Google Apps. Thank you for being so patient - this one took us a while to get up and running.

I believe (with the provided information) that you are on the right track to get convert a Lead to a Customer, with the restriction that the user cannot edit the Lead information. The action on the button should change the 'IsLeadStatusOnly' field.

The Method Integration Engine does not trigger any popups in this regard. It sounds like this is a popup from QuickBooks so we have no control over the information in that window.

I need to figure a way to allow our users to convert a lead without editing that lead...
So far I have added checkboxes to the LeadList grid to allow a user to check a lead.
I put a duplicate 'Convert Lead to Customer' button on the screen with the grid (LeadList).
Now I am in the process of altering the 'Convert...' button actions ...

this is the second time this has happened to me ... it's very seldom but still anoying when it does happen, the buttons to save and whatnot are just missing at times, then you have to hit refresh on the entire browser page thus loosing all your info and having to re-enter again
